The first of our "FREE JAZZ IN THE PARK" gigs this summer.
BLUE FUNK is driven by Matt Ratcliffe's Hammond Organ sound. His electric keyboards was such a hit with you all with Tony Kofi's INSIDE STRAiGHT last summer that we asked Matt to lead this year's band.
Just as last year and with LOOSEN UP in 2020 BLUE FUNK deliver a "good-time" - "soul-jazz" vibe.
This isn't a "Festival" - no mud, no food franchises, no portaloos just a free gig in your local park.
The gig is free to you but Derby Jazz is paying good rehearsal and performance fees so it's costing us.
