They work at the edges of jazz, contemporary classical and downtown NYC improv.

Shirley Tetteh - guitar

Moses Boyd - drums

The great bass player and mentor to several generations of UK jazz musicians, Gary Crosby was hugely enthusiastic about this quartet when he brought Jazz Jamaica to Derby in September 2012.

Alto sax player Nat Facey is a founder member of the highly successful  Empirical.

Drummer Moses Boyd and guitarist Shirley Tetteh are recent graduates of Gary's Tomorrow's Warriors organisation. He rates them as among the most exciting young musicians he has encountered in years.
